What is V*Star

• A speed probability program that calculates the probability of the speed each vehicle, in your crash is traveling at, at impact
• Provides a solution to the conservation of linear momentum problem with pre-impact avoidance taken into consideration
• Determines the speed of vehicles and the variance of speed calculations
• Calculating of speed of two vehicles using conservation of Linear Momentum
• Includes a range for each entry thus allowing for certainty or margin of error

By entering the case parameters of each vehicle involved (initial speeds, preimpact maneuver, any skidding distances, etc.) and a range, V*Star will perform 1500 randomized uniform distribution calculation for each variable (within your range parameters) generating a normal-like distribution to determine what is the most likely speed the vehicles were traveling at, at impact.

V*Star also allows the user to view the actual calculations performed assuring the user that V*Star is a mathematically sound solution.
